While Henrik Lundqvist deserves ample credit in keeping the New York Rangers’ season alive at least another 48 hours, let it said the above penalty shot by an otherwise otherworldly talent, was not the toughest save he had to make Thursday evening.

Actually I thought Lundqvist deserved a lot of credit there. He didn’t give Malkin anywhere to shoot except the five hole. A lot of goalies would have overcommitted or gone down too early there, and Malkin would have scored if he had.
Was actually there. Saw one act of criminal assault against a really stupid Pens fans in an Ulf Samuellson jersey. Pretty dull game for the first 30 minutes, Pens were obviously complacent and the Rangers didn’t seem too sparky either (Avery’s absence was noticeable in that regard). Hope it turns into at least a six game series.
