I feel good that he can go back to nuzzling with his horsies.
They won’t fire him. No one gets fired. I expect a quiet resignation in several months. This is not to be confused with the quiet resignation I started feeling in November of last year.
The real question we should be focusing on now is which fundraising interest-group conservative crony will fill this position next time. And which “moderate” Democrat is going to give him the Joementum Treatment — i.e. the roughest 43 minutes of said nominee’s life.
