Following their failed attempt to capture Craig Bellamy, Birmingham have signed Walter Pandiani (above) on loan from Deportivo. The Uruguyan international, scorer of 50 goals in 128 La Liga matches, will join fellow Emile Heskey, Clinton Morrison, Robbie Blake and Dwight Yorke on a Blues side flush with veteran strikers.
