With all due respect to Rashard Mendenhall and Illinois’ attempt to topple no. 5 Wisconsin, the early game of choice in this household has been Kansas’ visit to Kansas State. In a nod to the old Bob Newhart drinking game, each time Jayhawks coach Mark Mangino appears on the screen, each viewer is required to vomit. I realize there are some health risks involved in doing this for 3 1/2 hours, but that’s what living in a college town does for my judgment.
