I don’t wanna say the Islanders’ Open House wasn’t a glamorous affair…but I’ve seen episodes of “The Uncle Floyd Show” that had higher production values (and most likely, a bigger audience). And besides, if the whole point was to punk rookie Josh Bailey, they should have presented him a jersey that said “Buttafucco” on the back. Still, if you were totally bored, a weekend dad or both, there were probably worse entertainment options last weekend than letting your kids have a crack at the Mike Milbury Dunk Tank.
So who’s “Josh Blake?” Oh you mean Josh Bailey? Speaking of “low production values” why don’t you look at this blog, jackass.
Wow! You remember the Uncle Floyd show? Wasn’t that on like NJ public TV or something back in the 60s? But I guess if you’re still using a Buttafucco joke, you’re sort of stuck in time.
Interesting attempt at humor.

Uncle Floyd’s much beloved program ran in various forms from 1974-1995. You might call that being stuck in time, but I prefer to think of it as an entirely appropriate historical reference. In any event, I’m glad you find my attempts at humor interesting — admittedly, there are far more fascinating than what the Islanders attempted.
I will confess, citing Mr. Buttafucco was a low blow for the fine people of your ‘hood. In the future, I’ll limit such name dropping to such characters as Joel Rifkind, The Good Rats and Alexei Yashin.
Thankfully, you can still visually name-drop Alexei Yashin for the low price of $12.99 plus shipping. http://www.hockeygiant.com/ccmck629srnyiy.html
Ah, crap, there goes my “blog box” pass.
