There’s nothing remotely humorous about 228 persons perishing aboard an Air France Rio-To-Paris flight that went missing earlier this week, even if it did recall a fantastic scene from Albert Brooks’ “Real Life”. And while I have great respect for Michael Pietrus acknowledging his countrymen and others with the Nikes shown above last night, Stan V.G. might want to have a word with his French guard/forward.
To wit, is it really such a great idea to link the fortunes of your Eastern Conference champs with an aviation disaster that left no survivors? Not if last night’s result is anything to go by.
