Not since the Aqua Teens took over Boston have I been so impressed that someone with more than $1000 to spend on a promotional campaign…seemingly, refused to do so.
That said, these seem like fighting words :
In more primitive areas of Chicago, parking spaces are provided on an ad-hoc basis by plucky local entrepreneurs. Perhaps unbelievably, this somewhat charming if irritating practice persists to this day.
I saw a little amused when I saw these on the El Monday morning (it was also slightly reassuring that the CTA had put system maps back on the Red Line), but these spots have nothing on the billboard the Sox put up six, seven years ago right outside of Wrigley: “Real baseball, 8.1 miles south.” What what.
