Perhaps the distance between the A’s and Angels will be greater than one game at the end of the season. And even if one game is all that seperates the two, perhaps the Los Angeles / Anaheim franchise will win the AL Wild Card, anyway. But it is tantalizing to think that Francisco Rodriquez’ inability to catch a simple toss back from Benji Molina yesterday in Oakland might cost the Angels their shot at the post-season.
