The New York Post’s Andrew Marchand reports that Marv Albert, booted from MSG following a dispute over money and content, is about to sign an agreement to call upwards of 50 Nets games in 2005-2006 for the YES Network. The hiring of the toothsome Marv, whose dulcet tones are synonymous with Knicks basketball and consensual sado-masochism (not necessarily in that order), makes Bruce Ratner’s Nets franchise seem just a little more credible.
