Thanks to a recent probation violation, Austin’s James “Mandingo” Kirkland won’t be part of the undercard for tonight’s Manny Pacquiao v. Ricky Hatton Junior Welterweight title fight, and while the headliners should provide no shortage of entertainment (sufficiently outlined by Large at No Mas), the pre-fight hype machine has primarily been stoked by their trainers. 

I’d imagine both Freddy Roach and Floyd Mayweather Sr. are being paid handsomely by their respective clients, but if tonight’s bout is the global PPV money-spinner many predict, HBO oughta cut both gentlemen in for a handsome bonus.
