Former A’s and Yankees reliever Paul Linblad, winning pitcher in Oakland’s 11 inning win over the Mets in Game 3 of the 1973 World Series, has passed away at the age of 64.
Lindblad collected two rings with Oakland as part of 14 year career that also included stops in Kansas City (A’s), Washington and Texas.
