With all due respect to Tom Brady, Randy Moss, Eli Manning, Brandon Jacobs, Plaxico Fantastico, Benmont Tench, etc. I’d like to see some overdue recognition for Jean Strahan. Were it not for her extremely messy divorce from former hubby / Giants LB Michael, Big Blue’s defensive corps might well have started the season allowing up 80 points in two weeks without their most experienced leader.
Motivated by astronomical payments owed to Jean, Strahan is 60 minutes away from capturing his first Super Bowl ring. I realize this proposition might strike as some as tasteless, so if the Patriots win, I’ll resist the urge to campain on behalf of Mo Lewis or Matt Walsh.
