Though defending World Champion England’s 28-10 defeat of the USA national rugby team might not seem like such a big deal, I’ll try to put it in some perspective for you.  For the (mostly) amateur Eagles to play a halfway competitive game against one of the tournament’s powerhouses is analogous to say, a top 5 ranked NCAA football team almost losing to a Division I-AA school.   Which, of course, would never happen.
