Remarkably, Jeff Van Gundy vs. Phil Jackson didn’t make the chart, nor did Michael Jordan vs. Isiah Thomas, though I suppose you could make a case for both conflicts being kind of insignificant . But omitting Danny Ainge vs. Tree Rollins (above) is inexcuseable.
Did you see Kobe and Barkley square off in the TNT studios? Not since the Lincoln Douglas debates have we seen such heightened rhetoric.
I figured I’d have enough time to catch that inbetween a couple of Steve Traschel’s pitches, but I flip back during a commercial. Oh well. Another moment from our shared heritage down the drain. I don’t watch that doctors in love show on Mondays, either.
also, I have to admit that Ainge vs. Tree was more of a chompfest and not a legit feud.
