Newsday’s Neil Best reports on the latest drama surrounding former WFAN reprobate Sid Rosenberg, who recently took his act down south.

Trouble always seems to find Sid Rosenberg, even if it has to hop a plane to Miami to track him down. But this time things got really weird for the former bad boy of New York radio.

Rosenberg’s mid-day co-host on Miami’s WAXY, former Dolphin O.J. McDuffie, was off Monday, and Sid spent much of the show talking about the Giants – including a chat with Tiki Barber – the day after the Dolphins rallied from a 23-3 deficit to beat the Bills.

On Tuesday, McDuffie severely criticized Rosenberg, prompting him to storm out of the studio. Later, the station pulled McDuffie off the air, too. Wednesday, it kept both men off. GM Jon Weiner, who is from Port Washington, said the co-hosts “made peace” and returned yesterday, chatting amicably.
