When you look at the internet business, what™s dangerous about it is that people who are clearly unqualified get to disseminate their piece to the masses. I respect the journalism industry, and the fact of the matter is …someone with no training should not be allowed to have any kind of format whatsoever to disseminate to the masses to the level which they can. ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith, as quoted by Inside SoCal’s Tom Hoffarth earlier this week.
Sure, you all laughed when you read the above quote several days ago. And after the item had been spread around the sporting blogosphere like a slightly less gruesome version of “Two Girls, One Cup”, the general consensus was that Stephen A. was, as usual, completely full of shit.
I’m just amazed he made such a bold statement without reading this first.
