Like many of us, ESPN Radio’s Dan Patrick has read the Jason Grimsley affidavit. Unlike you and I, however, Patrick has spoken to a source that has revealed the identities of three of the obscured names in the document.
Though he refused to deliver the goods on-air (“you’ll find out soon enough,” teased Dan), the host did claim the following :
1) one of these names will surprise no one.
2) one will be a total shocker
3) the third will be a surprise, though perhaps not as big as the other.
And with that, let the widespread, irresponsible speculation begin. My money’s on 1) The Governor Of California, 2) David Eckstein and 3) Shawn Green.
