Those were a pair of the names submitted by ESPN News editor Barry Stanton, a fellow who previously achieved some level of notoriety some 8 years ago when he was accused of plagiarizing material written by the K.C. Star’s Joe Posnanski. While this is one heck of a way to recapture the public eye, you can decide for yourself if this is further indictment of the BBWAA’s credibility.
