Barry Bonds hit a two-run HR to left field in the first inning of tonight’s Giants/Rockies game off Colorado’s Aaron Cook for his 709th career round-tripper. And his first HR since the debut of the ESPN Original Entertainment Series, “Bonds On Bonds”.
San Francisco is ahead, 3-1 after 4 innings. I fully expect by the 7th inning stretch that Senator John McCain will have called for a full investigation of a) the atmospheric conditions at Coors Field, b) the condition of the Coors humidor and c) the real effects of deer meat on Todd Helton.
Bonds sucks. There. I’m on the record.
