Minnesota have signed left handed pitcher Johan Santana, the reigning AL Cy Young Award winner, to a 4 year contract. Details were undisclosed, but we have it on good authority that Santana is now “rich furr life”.
Ben Sheets, hampered by poor run support in ’04, will be well-paid no matter how shitty the Brewers are next season, having agreed to a one-year, $6 million contract.
