Never let it be said there’s nothing to do in Buffalo on a Friday afternoon. The combined star power of Ed Kranepool, Triple-A managerial fixture Ken Oberkfell, minor league lifer Jason Cooper and no fewer than 3 new uniforms (about a third as many as the parent club) made for an eventful Hot Stove Luncheon for the New York Mets’ new International League affiliate, the Buffalo Bisons. OK, maybe not so much Ken Oberkfell, but it’s not as though the Bisons can book a Sex Maggots reunion every year.
