Tonight’s Subway Series finale between the Mets and Yankees marks Derek Jeter’s final regular season appearance at Citi Field. In the rich tradition of rolling over and kissing the hind quarters of the opposition, the host Mets will conduct a pregame ceremony in which the Yankee Captain is the subject of a brief tribute and shall receive some sort of memento.

Given that Jeter’s earned hundreds of millions of dollars in his career, this does pose the question, what could the Mets possibly purchase the third baseman that he’s never gotten around to obtaining on his own?

The answer of course, is pretty simple.  Derek Jeter will be receiving a complete set of Neil Strauss’ “The Annihilation Method” on DVD.
