When it was announced yesterday that Pokey Chatman had stepped down as head coach of the LSU Women’s program, I was slightly curious why she’d do such a thing after leading the Tigers to a pair of successive Final Fours, SEC Titles and a stellar 90-14 record in 3 years.
My answer came tonight with James Varney of the Times-Picayune‘s revelation that Chatman faces accusations of “an inappropriate sexual relationship” between herself and her players.
Details are “murky”, writes Varney, but the internet being what it is, the players in question will probably be ID’d in a matter of minutes.
