A Bloomberg News item in today’s NY Daily News claims that “groggy and preoccupied baseball fans will cost their employers as much as $225 million in lost productivity this week.”
There’s no mention, however, of New York’s Gawker Media, where such a loss in productivity is not an issue, seeing as there are no staff members who actually watch baseball games.
As long as Pop Bitch stays up and running however, they’ll be ok.
