While the New York Daily News’ Frank Isola reports that Isiah Thomas might be thinking twice about falling downstairs to assume the Knicks’ head coaching duties, the Post’s Marc Berman claims to have the nitty gritty on the current coach’s medical condition.

According to a source close to the Browns, the coach’s devastating bladder problem has been resolved after Friday’s surgery in a Manhattan hospital. For nearly two years, since having complications after hip surgery, Brown has needed a catheter to go to the bathroom. The source said that no longer will be the case.

Two prior surgeries did not correct the problem. The Browns privately are thrilled with Knicks director of medical care Lisa Callahan.
