For those of a certain vintage, the call letters WRKO are synonymous with the Bay City Rollers, Andrew Gold and Steam. For those who are actually alive and breathing in the 21st century however, the station is once again the home of Boston Celtics radio broadcasts, the Entercom property signing a deal with the C’s this week (story courtesy Boston Radio Watch).
WWZN, the Celtics’ prior AM radio outlet, will continue to feature the dulcet tones of Eddie Andelman and much programing from the excruciating Sporting News Radio network.
