Chelsea Launch U.S. Membership Website to Celebrate American Soccer Fans
November 8, 2007 “ Chelsea Football Club today launched a groundbreaking website for fans in the United States. As part of the club™s ongoing commitment to soccer in the U.S., the innovative new venture represents the first time a European club has created a dedicated membership site for its fans in America.
In celebration of the launch, Chelsea are hosting an online competition for registered fans to win a trip for four to London to see the Blues play at Stamford Bridge. Exclusive competitions for members only will be hosted on the site on an ongoing basis. There is no fee to register as a member.
Chelseafc.com/america offers content designed, delivered and implemented specifically for U.S. soccer fans, including an interactive social networking ˜members map™ allowing supporters to search and communicate with one another. Fans also can upload their own photos and chat online.
gc- are you strictly a qpr fan or do you like teams that actually win things too?
what, the Division Three championship from 1967 doesn’t count? The League Cup in 1967? the ’83 Division Two Championship? Granted, that’s a pretty small trophy case, but surely the above silverware constitutes “winning things”?
