Courtesy of Mark Twistworthy, today I’m fortunate enough to peruse Designated Hits, a site that claims to “catalog and organize all of baseball’s at-bat and entrance music”. As you might expect, it’s a rather grim selection of jock jams and other favorites from whatever’s left of album rock radio, and the New York Mets’ choices are generally no better.  But if repeat exposure to Ted Nugent’s “Stranglehold” is what’s required to unleash Sunday’s improbable walk-off hero, Kirk Nieuwenhuis, I considerable it an acceptable price to pay.

Not a small price, mind you.
