Earlier today, prompted by the Sports Putz, I wondered why any discerning viewer would choose the crazed rantings of uninformed screamers over the sage analysis of qualified professionals. Or if the latter were too fucking dull, just turning the sound all the way down.
With that question still unanswered, I would honestly like to know, is there one person in America who isn’t related to ESPN Radio’s late morning host who actually sought out the commentary of Colin Cowherd for tonight’s Florida State/Miami game? And if there is, please, tell us all, what’s electroshock really like?
Flipped over to the Nam Jun Paik coverage of tonight’s game on ESPN2 just in time to discover it was halftime and Cowherd was on the screen. My wife walked in a split second after I had changed the channel back to Raw, wondering why such a pained “ughhhhhh” had just come from my direction.
there you have it. the retirement of Trish Stratus wins the hearts and minds of at least one sensible household.
The whole full circle concept made no sense.
And what happened to Ron Franklin and Godfried? I thought they were a decent team. Mike Patrick still reeks of Joe Theisman
If it’s true that Mike Patrick reeks of Theissman — depends, but I’d agree, I think — then it’s worth mentioning that Paul Maguire still reeks of pork and Keystone Light.
no one’s arguing here
