The AP is reporting that Gloria James, 37, mother of Cavaliers megastar LeBron James, was arrested last night and charged with driving while intoxicated and disorderly conduct. The Cleveland police blotter doesn’t mention whether or not Gloria was haulted in before or after her son went 5 for 22 against Golden State, but I hope the authorities show some mercy on the woman. Having to hear Greg Anthony proclaim your offspring “a great player….for 46 minutes” would drive anyone to drink.
I’m sure that Kendra Davis and Anna Benson would both agree that family members oughta stay out of the limelight.

Getting beat up by the Hornets at home, the Knicks seem well on their way to their 4th consecutive loss. On the bright side, New York will still be 6-4 in their last ten (OK, I’m getting desperate) and the RSPCA will be pleased to note that Qyntel Woods has a season-high 11 points.
