After taking a PR beating over the harrassment of 5 Muslim men who attended the Giants/Saints game on Sept. 19, the Meadlowlands has announced they will now provide a prayer area for anyone who wants to make use of it. (thanks to Jon Solomon for the link).

Though it does seem like the time is ripe for a sequel to Chain Gang’s “Death At The Meadowlands”, such an artistic endeavor would probably not have the support of the New Jersey Sports & Exposition Authority, whom according to the Newark Star-Ledger’s Matthew Futterman, are eager to convince Jeffrey Loria and whatever is left of his Florida Marlins to move north.
