I’m old (and sad enough) to remember the time the B-52’s (with Sara Lee on bass) played on “The Guiding Light”. I think the above clip tops that one on the what-the-fuck scale. (link courtesy Wojohowicz)
Not to nitpick too much, but why is Michael Des Barres considered too old for these parts?
damn you for posting this. I was much better off prior to watching it.
As a longtime GL watcher (for years, I waited for H.B. Lewis to start yapping about bodysnatching pods)…this was the lowest point of the Light since a sunken-skulled Zaslow tinkled the ivories.
five shooters away from signing the lousiest contract in the history of the music industry.
Very disappointing the script writers didn’t find a way to work in the formal connection to Amarillo Records. How I long for a reference to The Easy Goings or the Faxed Head on daytime television.
Isn’t the jewish guy on “The O.C.” who likes Death Cab and Klosterman WAY into Faxed Head?
Or was that the Walkmen?
…so none of you heard the zip code rapists mentioned on that episode of THE WAR AT HOME ? what’s wrong w/ you people ????
…and it IS faxed head he’s into…..even HE’S not dumb enough to like the walkmen.
