Commenting on the familial woes of Andy Reid this morning, ESPN Radio’s Chris Mortensen accused Montgomery County Judge Steven O’Neal of “taking a cheap shot” at the embattled Iggles coach in characterizing Reid’s home as “a drug emporium”.

Presumably, Mort wasn’t nearly as offended by O’Neil calling the Reids, “a family in crisis”, but he went on to dismiss questions about whether or not Reid might be subject to censure via the league’s personal conduct policy as “ridiculous”.

As Mort is well aware, Roger Goodell has already demonstrated he’s willing to penalize members of the uniformed workforce even before a judge has weighed in. How many players have been held accountable for whom they choose to associate with?
