The New York Post’s Phil Mushnick is hardly going to stop at Julia Louis-Dreyfus’ vagina (sorry). It seems there’s all kinds of bland programming that he finds offensive.
By now it’s clear that there are folks at CBS who scour the network’s shows in search of their most vulgar content. These moments are selected as promos, then plugged into sports telecasts.
In fact, as we saw in a promo for “How I Met Your Mother” within Memphis-UCLA, some vulgar promos are produced for specific attachment to CBS’s sports telecasts.
But bold as these promos may be, the folks who sign off on them still don’t have the guts to identify themselves so that we can duly credit them. And, apparently, Sean McManus, president of CBS News and CBS Sports, has neither the inclination nor clout to do anything about it.
