œWe had the dagger out and didn™t twist it enough to touch any organs, CB Ellis Hobbs said. œThey kept living, they kept surviving and lo and behold they won the game. And we™re going home. – as quoted by the Boston Herald’s John Tomase, Monday, 1/22/07
Curiously, the Boston Globe has video of Hobbs’ postgame remarks, and there’s no mention of touching organs. Perhaps he made the dagger analogy earlier or later. And perhaps John Tomase is a big fan of Herschel Gordon Lewis?
Whoa, me too. Wow. Great find.
