Every wanted to work for a self-styled egomaniac who has no respect for the opinions or accomplishments of others? Sorry, I’m not hiring. But Crystal Palace chairman Simon Jordan, he’s a swell guy and even better, he’s looking for a new manager this evening, having waved bye-bye to Iain Dowie.
Dowie, possibly the handsomest man in all of professional sports, has since been linked to vacancies at Charlton and Ipswich Town. Strangely, there’s been no mention of a return to QPR where he toiled as a player and assistant manager.
In a serious note, our thoughts go out to the family and friends of QPR youth team hopeful Kiyan Prince, who was stabbed to death last week in North London.
