Flea’s contributions to the NBA Blogsquad — noted earlier in this space — took a dark turn yesterday with the Lakers’ first round exit.
i congratulate the phoenix suns on their victory
they are a unique and dynamic team
except for raja bell who is a nincompoop
well, no more nba for me now
i have no interest in who wins now
it is over for me til november
ahh maybe i’ll try to enjoy a few games as the playoffs progress
i do appreciate high quality basketball
but, it is unlikely
too painful
the nba is dead to me now
it was fun writing the blog all year
and i’m sure anyone who doesn’t love the lakers thinks i’m an idiot
I wonder if music genius Rick Rubin proof-reads Flea’s blog.
Just another example of what happens when music industry professionals dabble in sports.
The Cubs have now extended their losing streak to 7 straight games, and no doubt much to the delight of the Tribune Company, will head up to San Francisco to offer up Barry Bonds historic tie and possible pass of Babe Ruth’s home run record. Given the Tribco’s love of the Babe, I am sure Jim Hendry is asking Dusty to let Bonds reenact that moment as many times as he likes so the Cubs can once again be a part of baseball greatness.
Love the Lakers, still think he’s an idiot.
Can I use these for the next album?
