Here’s a little history lesson for you :
After Bird and Magic, came Brad Lohaus, Sam Bowie and Mark Eaton. Surely another all-time great will soon put his stamp upon professional basketball. Will another Shawn Bradley emerge? Probably not —avatars are a rare thing, but we have to give these young hopefuls a chance to develop their own game.
“Bradley, who struggled with knee and hip injuries this season, is leaving the game after 12 years for health and family reasons. He and wife Annette recently had their sixth child.“
i guess i don’t have to ask how he hurt his hip.
Mark Eaton was a pretty effective player for Utah. It’s kind of unfair to put him in Deathstick territory.
Derek,
Deathstick? He’s refered to above as an all-time great.
following KT’s comment, I guess you could say Shawn B. was a fairly potent player, too. Not on the court, however.
But if it’ll make you and the Mark Eaton fan club feel better, please substitute Mark’s name with that of Hank Finkel.
good night
