The trash talking Celtics have jumped out to a 22-4 lead in the first quarter of their Sunday matinee with the Knicks, though the hosts are making do without the services of Glen Davis. Comcast Sports reported prior to tip off that Davis had been in a car accident en route to the game and was suffering from a mild concussion and whiplash.
Presumably, Davis’ injuries are legit and were in no way inspired by a recent Nick At Nite viewing of the above “Sanford & Son” episode.
