The New York Daily News’ Ralph Vacchiano had the distinct pleasure of getting 30 seconds of Michael Strahan’s time yesterday, and while the Giants linebacker was generally supporting of the NFL’s plans for a regular season game between New York and Miami at London’s Wembley Stadium, he also dropped this gem of a quote.

“I look at what’s happened with the Thanksgiving Day game,” Strahan (above, middle) said. “At first people maybe thought that was a little strange. But how many of us would be able to survive a day with the family without that game, having to talk to them all day? That game has actually saved us.”

I cant imagine why Strahan has been so eager to stay out of the house.
