David Roth has already demonstrated his distaste for the Delonte West-with-LeBron’s Mom story, a topic of which former Rockets PG Calvin Murphy — last seen in this space analyzing the behavior of O.J. Simpson — claims to have all sorts of inside information. To which I can only add, why would anyone take umbrage at a consensual relationship between Gloria James and a well-balanced individual like Delonte West? LeBron might be The Chosen One, but that doesn’t mean he gets to choose whom his mother consorts with. And do I need to add that all things considered, it could be much worse?
