Giants 27, Chiefs 17

To say the formerly fumble-riffic Tiki Barber is having a career year doesn’t begin to cover it. With all due respect to Edgerrin James, Shaun Alexander and (the other) L.T., Barber is a legit MVP candidate and his tackle-busting performance today against K.C. (29 carrries, 220 yards, 2 TD’s) was nothing short of inspiring. And by that, I mean it should inspire Gunther Cunnigham to retire.

After catching a 2nd half TD pass from Eli Manning, WR Armani Toomer passed Frank Gifford on the Giants’ All-Time touchdown list. Gifford is still New York’s all-time leader in being recorded while having sex with an airline stewardess, however. Though I encourage all active Giants to do their best to catch him.

CBS’ Jim Nantz claimed that his and Phil Simms’ choice of matching ensembles was a tribute to Hank Stram. He did a good job of not giggling, too.
