Reina was sent off during Liverpool’s 2-0 defeat at Chelsea 11 days ago after fouling Eidur Gudjohnsen and then pushing Arjen Robben, who fell to the turf melodramatically. He believes Robben got him sent off and the incident has heightened his desire to see Barcelona hammer Jose Mourinho’s team next Wednesday.
“Barcelona are part of my life and I want them to win,” he said. “And after what happened to me at Stamford Bridge, I will be a bigger Barcelona fan than ever for this tie. I hope they stick four goals past Chelsea in each leg. I’d also like Liverpool to beat Benfica and for us to be able to play Barça in the next round.”
