Chargers 10, Raiders 0 (2nd quarter, 5:30)
The stat-tracker says Oakland QB Aaron Brooks has been sacked twice thus far in the first half, but it seems like he’s been manhandled repeatedly. 0 catches for Randy Moss this evening, who might be the only person on earth who’d like to see Kerry Collins right about now. The Raiders traded Doug Gabriel last week and Jerry Porter isn’t playing…but Brooks can’t do much when he’s buried underneath white jerseys.
After LaDanian Tomlinson leapt into the end zone from 1 yard out, Dick Vermeil said “Good call, Marty.” I think giving L.T. the ball another 30 times and telling the bus driver to keep the motor running would be a good call.
