Just weeks after receiving the dreaded vote of confidence from ownership, head coach Terry Porter was fired today by the Milwaukee Bucks.
Milwaukee, sitting on the no. 1 pick in the forthcoming NBA draft, are expected to pursue Flip Saunders or Nate McMillan. Porter, who won 71 games while losing 92 in two seasons, might be a candidate for the coaching vacancy in Portland.
