Sealed court records prevent me from sharing the details surrounding a recent incident that reduced Quin Galavis’ automobile to a pile of scrap metal slightly bigger than two soup cans (though somewhat smaller than Public Image Ltd’s ‘Metal Box’). Quin, known to many of you as a world class vocalist/songwriter (either fronting The Dead Space or leading his own crack ensemble), one of Beerland’s ever-helpful sound engineers or simply as one of the finest persons we know, is FUCKED FOR TRANSPORT, hence this benefit. Since we cannot be expected to raise his spirits (hey, LIFE SUCKS, buddy, get used to it) we’ll instead attempt to raise cash, perhaps towards the purchase of a skateboard or Radio Flyer.
