But this one!
I’m gonna go out on a limb here and suggest that C Channing Frye (Arizona), a bona-fide shot blocking demon, is gonna have a more impressive NBA career than Frederic Weis.

Don’t forget about the aquisition of Nate Robinson from Phoenix…I just graduated from the University of Washington, but I’m moving to NYC, so thank Jesus for a reason to care about the Knicks…Seriously though, he is very talented and passionate and the best athlete in the draft. A 5’7″ highlight reel – New Yorkers will love him. I had a class with him too, and if you need any info on social stratification, you might be better off asking…ummm…anybody. Anybody but Nate Rob. First dude on campus with a Sidekick though.
that was any easy one gerard about our beloved frederic weis. 4 french guys in the 2005 nba draft: bruce jacobs is going to love that.
Guillaume,
easy on the Bruce Jacobs shit. I never said Weis being a stiff had anything to do with his being French. And while we’re on the subject, I sincerely hope the 2005 crop of Spainish, Russian, French etc. players flourish in the Association, if only to show up the likes of Stephen A. Smith and Dickie V., both of whom were agog that the likes of Sean May or Rashad McCants might be passed over in favor of foreigners they’ve never heard of.
That Smith is usually trying too hard isn’t exactly a newsflash, but his hysterical reaction to Phil Jackson not being part of the Lakers’ war room was really desperate. Just think how many rings Phil would’ve won in Chicago and LA previously had he been in charge of the draft?
