Having just lost Kenny Rogers and having been rebuffed by virtually every free agent pitcher they’ve approached (hint : Orel Hersheiser has installed nordic-track in his office), the Rangers have traded for the Phillies’ Vicente Padilla.
The Phillies will receive a player to be named later. I doubt that player will be named Adrian Gonzales, but Philly phans can phantasize.
